Tina's Tours
Unlike most tours, Tina selects a luxury period house to be your home for the week, so no more packing and unpacking and moving suitcases from location to location. All your creature comforts are catered for within a cosy place to stay, so you feel like you can 'live like a local' in a relaxed, hassle free, calming space.
With Tina as your British born guide, you go to some of her favorite places; many off the beaten track. You get to access experiences not available to the solo traveller, whilst avoiding the crowds of larger groups.
You have the opportunity to explore the best of what Britain has to offer from the beautiful countryside, majestic Stately Homes & Castles, to outstanding gastro pubs and delightful afternoon teas. Indulge in great farm to fork food and learn about British cuisine, history & culture as you immerse yourself in a truly unique experience you'll never find in the guide books.
Who Travels
Past tour participants have ranged in age from 17 to 70's. There is something for both men and women, young and not so young, to enjoy. Ideal for couples, sisters, Mum & daughters, friends and adult family groups. All rooms can be set-up as doubles or 2 singles and all prices are based on 2 people sharing.
There is a lot of walking to do and with stairs rather than elevators, you'll need to be independently mobile if you want to take full advantage of all the experiences offered. It's a great way to bond and reconnect with a love one. We've had couples celebrating wedding anniversaries and people celebrating birthdays. You make new friends with people how have similar interests, while being enveloped in local customs and British life. Tina not only takes you out of the guidebooks and into a world you're waiting to discover, but to places you would never even find by traveling independently on your own or with larger tour group companies.

With unique activities each day, private insider glimpses not normally available to the general public, great farm to fork food sourced from local farmers, grass fed meet, locally baked breads, artisan cheese together with shopping in some of the quaintest independent shops in the country, you get to take a little of Britain home with you. By having all the details taken care of, you can just sit back, relax and soak in each day and every experience, as you become a little more British every day.
